DOWANOL™ DPnB by Dow is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol ether solvent with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and coalescing properties. It is efficient coalescent in water-borne latex systems. It is biodegradable and is GMO-free.
  • It exhibits high polymer plasticizing efficiency, large molecular size and therefore greater polymer mobility contribution, strong partitioning to the polymer phase.
  • It is a good solvent for removing paints, oils and greases.
  • DOWANOL™ DPnB is used in solvent-based and water-reducible coatings.
  • Recommended for industrial, automotive and architectural coatings.
  • It is REACH and TSCA compliant.
