Diethylenetriamine(DETA) by Dow is the next-to lowest molecular weight product containing two primary and one secondary nitrogen. It is a building block in the manufacture of imidazoline based corrosion inhibitors. It is free of BSE and GMO. Diethylenetriamine(DETA) has high viscosity, low sensitivity, low vapor pressure, versatile, easily derivatized and low environmental impact. It is used in coatings. It is REACH and TSCA compliant.
