Butyl CARBITOL™ Solvent by Dow is a primary solvent and latex coalescent in water-based architectural and industrial coatings. It is GMO-free, slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether with excellent coalescing and coupling power. It has low viscosity, high dilution ratio, excellent solvency and great chemical stability.
