Silaplane™ FM-0421

Silaplane™ FM-0421 distributed by DKSH is a mono-terminal reactive siloxane dispersant agent. It offers good adsorption to the filler surface. It exhibits high affinity for silicone binder resin. It shows narrow polydispersity and mold release property.

• It possesses gas permeability (Oxygen, CO₂ and CH₄).
• It is water and oil repellent grade.
• It has low level of chemical impurities.
• Resin modification is done by reacting with polymers or monomers and incorporating them into resin.
• It is used in hydrogel contact lenses and functional paints.
• It is reactive toward a variety of compounds and surfaces enabling chemical and physical changes.
• It is mixed with fillers and binder resins such as silicone and uniform filler to obtain dispersion liquids.
