RHOPLEX™ EC-2848 by DKSH is a 100% acrylic polymer emulsion. It provides an excellent balance of elongation, tensile strength and dirt-pickup resistance over a wide temperature range. It allows coatings to bridge dimensionally unstable cracks without rupturing. Coatings based on it retain an attractive appearance as they age.
  • It also offers an outstanding balance of toughness and elasticity at both low and high temperatures.
  • It exhibits very good exterior durability and maintains an attractive appearance.
  • It is internally plasticized, permanently flexible and eliminates the need for an external plasticizer.
  • It permits water vapor in a substrate to escape and controls moisture buildup in walls.
  • It shows ultraviolet resistance and enhances chalk resistance and tint retention.
  • It is designed for elastomeric coatings.
  • It is waterborne and offers simple handling and cleaning.
