Luna-mer B55-LC distributed by DKSH is the salt of polycarboxylic acid cyclic amidine-based hardener. It offers color and gloss stability under normal baking conditions.
- It is suitable for formulations that can produce epoxy or hybrid coatings for matt or semi-matt gloss with very good flow properties.
- It is recommended for pure epoxy and hybrid (epoxy-polyester) resin powder coatings.
- Epoxy coatings of gloss level ranging from 15-30% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 20-60% (or greater) may easily be formulated by this grade.
- Hybrid coating with matt or semi-matt gloss may be achieved by replacing some of the polyester in the formulation with an equivalent quantity of Luna-mer B55-LC.
- The shelf life of the product is 1 year when kept under 0-40°C and is available in USA, Sri Lanka and Europe.
