Etermer 223 distributed by DKSH is tripropylene glycol diacrylate which is capable of polymerizing to a hard, infusible resin that is clear and glass-like. It is a good diluent for a broad range of acrylated resins used in radiation processing
applications.
- It can be used as a comonomer in conjunction with vinyl-type monomers to produce crosslinked polymers.
- It offers low volatility & viscosity, good solvency for acrylate oligomers, high reactivity and good hydrophobic character.
- It is particularly well suited for the formulation of highly UV-reactive wood and paper overprinting varnishes.
