DEGALAN® P 24

DEGALAN® P 24 distributed by DKSH is a bead polymer based on methyl methacrylate and n-butyl methacrylate derived by suspension polymerization process.

• It is a binder for the manufacture of UV printing inks & primers, stop-off and transfer lacquers for glass and ceramics and in particular heat seal lacquers for sealing aluminium foils versus PVC and polystyrene in food packaging in compliance with food regulations.
• It is compatible with PVC co-polymers, PS, PC, PMMA, ABS, pigments, printing ink raw materials and ester-soluble nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber, cellulose acetobutyrate, maleinate resins and phthalate plasticizers.
• It exhibits medium hardness, elasticity, light fastness and excellent chemical resistance.
• It possesses good adhesion to various substrates such as plastics, paper, textiles and metal.
• It shows solubility in esters and is blendable with alcohols.
• The shelf life of DEGALAN® P 24 is 5 years and is available in Belgium, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Philippines and Vietnam.
