AHA1088P distributed by DKSH is a general purpose, polyacrylate-based flow modifier or flow control agent. It is used in powder coatings, where a liquid acrylic homopolymer is absorbed onto a SiO2 carrier and then converted into a free-flowing powder.
- It improves levelling and prevents “orange peel”.
- In addition, it also prevents surface defects such as craters, pinholes and fisheyes.
- It is suitable for polyesters, polyurethanes, hybrids, epoxies and acrylics.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% by weight, calculated on total formulation.
