FluorN 1788 by Cytonix is 100% solids perfluoropolyether diisocyanate. Acts as a fluorosurfactant. It can cure moisture and can be formulated as a 2-part urethane to form clear, low refractive index, lubricious hydrophobic/oleophobic surfaces. Provides a water & oil repellant surface and is stable to heat, acids and bases. It is compatible with acrylic, epoxy, silicone and urethane resins. Used in solvent borne coatings and inks. Recommended use level is between 1-5% by weight. It is in compliance with the chemical notification requirements of TSCA (USA), REACH (Europe) and many other countries.
