Span™ 60 by Croda acts as a non-ionic surfactant, W/O emulsifier and O/W co-emulsifier. Used as a pigment dispersant in non-polar liquids for applications ranging from decorative to industrial coatings and paints. It is a bio-based sorbitan monostearate. Suitable for acrylic/ vinylic/ UV, epoxy, natural oils, waxes, esters, polyesters and polyurethane. Offers good environmental & health profile, highly efficient emulsification and allows high loading of pigments/ fillers. Span™ 60 complies with REACH as well as food contact approvals EU 10/2011, Swiss Ordinance A and FDA (175.105).
