Impranil® CQ DLU by Covestro is an aqueous, anionic aliphatic polyester carbonate polyether polyurethane (PU) dispersion. It is partially bio-based, crosslinkable and has low viscosity & high solids content. It can be applied in various ways ranging from direct or transfer coating to printing processes and microfiber dipping. It is used in numerous articles such as outer wear, luggage and work clothing.
- It can be used to replace petroleum-based Impranil® DLU, thereby easily achieving an additional increase in textile coating sustainability.
- It provides a pleasant feel, high alkali-, crack- & scratch resistance as well as good adhesion properties to certain types of PVC.
- Coatings based on Impranil® CQ DLU exhibit excellent hydrolysis resistance, very good lightfastness, and high tensile strength.
- It is suitable for mechanical foaming and for producing synthetic materials for sports articles, technical textiles, car/automotive interiors & bags.
- It can also be used for both intermediate and top coat.
- It has a shelf life of 12 months.
