Solvent-free, low viscosity, low-functionality isocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Used to improve storage stability of pigmented moisture-curing one-pack polyurethane coatings. Offers good lightfastness and weather stability. Acts as a dewatering agent to ensure the storage stability of pigmented moisture-curing one-component polyurethane coatings. Possesses good compatibility with esters such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate and 1-methoxypropylacetate-2. Exhibits limited solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene, xylene, Solvesso® 100 and Shellsol® A.
