Genapol® X 1005 by Clariant is a nonionic emulsifier that supports stable and efficient emulsion polymerization.
  • It is used to emulsify monomers such as acrylates, styrene–acrylates and vinyl acetate during polymerization.
  • It is designed to maintain low emulsion viscosity across different shear conditions.
  • It is suitable for formulations requiring low VOC, APEO-free and hazard-label-free and biodegradable.
  • Genapol® X 1005 offers improved electrolyte stability and high freeze–thaw durability.
  • It provides easy handling due to its liquid, water-soluble nature.
  • It supports longer shelf life of polymer dispersions.
  • It has a shelf life of 730 days.
