BUTAROL™ KA by CISME Italy acts as a coalescent agent. It is diethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate. It offers protection for PVA latex paints against failure caused by application under adverse conditions such as high humidity & low temperature. It can be used as a low evaporating solvent in polymer coil coating, electrode-position coatings and high-backed enamel coatings. It shows very low water solubility. BUTAROL™ KA is suitable for flash-dry printing inks.
