SILCO® GA 1018 by CHT Group is a non-ionic, high performance, silicone-free wetting, leveling and dispersing agent for all organic pigments. It is highly effective, APEO-, biocide- and mineral oil-free additive. It is broadly compatible with water-based binder systems in alkaline medium. It is suitable for applications with indirect food contact.
- It is recommended for resin-free formulations in combination with a second anionic compound or as standalone.
- It is designed for foil coating, water-based system, printing inks and overprint varnishes applications.
- SILCO® GA 1018 exhibits high compatibility, low foaming, good water resistance and excellent storage stability of pigment concentrates.
- The recommended usage level is 10-35% for organic pigments and 20-75% for carbon black, calculated on the total pigment weight.
- It has a shelf life of 18 months.
