Celvolit® 1774 by Celanese is an APEO-free, durable vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) copolymer (54-56%) emulsion. It possesses low odor, good scrub resistance, excellent touch-up and efficient thickener response. It is a versatile and easy to formulate grade. Suitable for high-performance, low-emission, low-to-no VOC coatings. Used in flat to semi-gloss interior architectural- and exterior masonry paints for both the DIY and contractor markets. Celvolit® 1774 complies with U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Canadian Domestic Substance List (DSL).
