DISPERBYK® -111 by BYK is a phosphoric acid ester-based wetting and dispersing agent. It provides deflocculation through steric stabilization for pigments. It increases transparency and hiding power. It offers high levels of gloss and color strength. It reduces haze and millbase viscosity. Its anionic character is suitable for acid-catalyzed systems such as coil coatings. It is used for all solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings and printing inks to stabilize inorganic
pigments, specifically titanium dioxide. Recommended dosage levels are 2.5-5% for inorganic pigment and 1-3% for titanium dioxide. DISPERBYK® -111 has a shelf life of 60 months.
