DISPERBYK® -107 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive. It is a solution of hydroxyfunctional carboxylic acid ester with pigment affinic groups. d show improved color acceptance when using universal colorants.
- It is especially developed for solvent-borne architectural coatings to stabilize titanium dioxide, fillers and other inorganic and organic pigments.
- It offers improved pigment wetting, gloss and levelling.
- It prevents flooding and floating and reduces viscosity.
- DISPERBYK® -107 is suitable for the formulation of pigment concentrates based on long oil alkyds.
- Recommended dosage level is 3-5% for inorganic pigments, 0.7-1.5% for titanium dioxide, 5-8% for organic pigments, and 8-10% for carbon black.
- It has a shelf life of 60 months.
