CERAFLOUR® 917 by BYK acts as a scratch and abrasion resistance agent. Micronized polyethylene wax. Offers excellent shear stability. Possesses high melt viscosity at high baking temperatures. Can be added at the end of the production process and should be incorporated at a moderate shear rate. Recommended dosage level based on the total formulation includes 1-6 % additive (as supplied). Applicable for industrial-, wood-, & coil coatings as well as two-pack and air-drying systems. It complies with REACH, EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, KECI, NZIoC, and ECSI.
