CERAFAK® 106 by BYK is an Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer wax dispersion. Improves the orientation of effect pigments (aluminum, mica, etc.).
- Offers enhanced flip-flop effect.
- Reduces short-wave defects (mottling, Bénard cells), and sedimentation tendency during storage.
- Improves the D.O.I. of the clear coats.
- Used for solvent-borne base coats and one coat metallic topcoats.
- Approved by FDA under FDA § 175.105, 175.125, 175.300, 176.170, 176.180.
- CERAFAK® 106 has a shelf life of 15 months.
- Recommended use level of additive is 50%.
