BYK® -9077

Supplied byBYK- Last Updated on Jul 10, 2024

BYK® -9077 by BYK is a high molecular weight copolymer with pigment affinic groups. Acts as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-free systems and pigment concentrates.
  • It reduces viscosity and leads to more Newtonian flow behavior in the mill-base.
  • Deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization of the pigments.
  • Provides equal electrical charge to pigments and thus avoid additionally possible co-flocculation of pigments that are not equally charged.
  • Also reduces viscosity, improves leveling, and allows high pigment loading.
  • Offers high gloss, and improved color strength.
  • Stabilizes basic carbon black pigments and does not contains plasticizers.
  • BYK® -9077 is used in pigment concentrates and PU floorings.
