BYK® -420 by BYK is a solution of modified urea. Acts as a urea based liquid post-add rheological additive for aqueous coatings and pigment concentrates. Prevents settling and improves sag resistance. Provides very good anti-settling properties with low viscosity of the aqueous pigment concentrates. Do not require pH or temperature control. BYK® -420 imparts very little impact on the water resistance of the coatings. Exhibits good thixotropic flow behaviour and easy handling. Optimizes anti-sagging and leveling. Used in coatings and pigment concentrates.
