Additive TI by Borchers (Milliken) is a 100% active, highly reactive moisture scavenger. It is a low viscosity, monofunctional isocyanate which chemically reacts with water to form an inert amide.
- It removes moisture introduced with solvents, pigments, and fillers in one- and two-component polyurethane solvent-based coating systems.
- It provides short-term dehydration and prevents moisture-related problems in polyurethane coatings.
- Recommended to improve the storage stability of di-isocyanates against decomposition and discoloration.
- The dosage level of Additive TI is 0.5-4.0% of the total weight of the formula.
