Acrylan VT 270 by Baumeister is a non-ionic polyurethane-based thickener by Baumeister. It is recommended for small size particle emulsions based on pure acrylic, styrene-acrylic and styrene-butadiene. Acrylan VT 270 offers high efficiency, no yellowing and chalking in the cured film. It provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness, reduced binder amount and improved coater runnability. It is suitable for high-solid coatings.
