Acrylan RG 20 by Baumeister is a non-ionic acrylate-copolymer. It acts as a rheology modifier. It is a terpolymer with polyether side chains that act as a mechanical spacer. It offers adsorption on any solid/liquid interface, prevention of particles from approaching each other too closely, forming agglomerates and improved high-shear viscosity. Acrylan RG 20 provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness & gloss, reduced binder amount and improved coater runnability. It is recommended for high-solid coatings.
