Acrylan L 260 by Baumeister is an anionic acrylic-acid-copolymer by Baumeister. It acts as an aqueous thickener. It provides improved fiber coverage, good paper smoothness & gloss, reduced binder amount and improved coater runnability. It is a very good OBA carrier. It offers high adsorption affinity to mineral surfaces, electrostatic and steric stabilization. Acrylan L 260 is recommended for high-solid coatings and coating formulations with high pigment load.
