Rheovis® PU 1291 by BASF is a next-generation non-ionic, volatile organic compound-free mid-shear rheology modifier and associative thickener. It is a hydrophobic-modified ethoxylated urethane.
- It offers excellent ICI thickening and easy handling. It is recommended for low-volatile organic compound systems.
- It does not contain alkylphenol ethoxylates.
- It is free of solvents, heavy metals, and tin.
- Rheovis® PU 1291 is used in high PVC paints, matt/interior, silk/semi-gloss, wood paints and stains, plasters, gloss-, exterior-, and elastic paints.
