Rheovis® PE 1331 EC by BASF is a solvent-free, APEO-free, low-VOC associative thickener. It is specifically designed to give a Newtonian rheology profile and excellent balance of performance properties to premium flat, eggshell, semi-gloss and gloss coatings.
- It imparts excellent flow and leveling due to it’s comb-polymer structure and has excellent exterior durability.
- It is excellent for high shear viscosity build for one-coat coverage while enhancing low shear performance for superior sag resistance.
- It imparts very good shelf life for consistent efficiency in performance (non-settling solution).
- Rheovis® PE 1331 EC offers very good scrub resistance and high efficiency in ICI viscosity development.
- The recommended dosage level is 1-4% on total formulation.
