Rheovis® PE 1320 NC

Rheovis® PE 1320 NC (Old name: DSX® 2000) by BASF acts as a newtonian rheology modifier for aqueous coatings. It is a polyether solution in water/butyldiglycol. It improves high brush drag (ICI viscosity). It can be used alone or blended with other associative thickeners to give complete control of rheological properties. It offers very good application hiding, flow and leveling properties, resistance properties and roller application and spatter resistance. Rheovis® PE 1320 NC provides good gloss development with superior scrub and water resistance. It is recommended as the sole thickener for coating systems containing a high hydrophobic surface area such as low pigmented, small particle size, high gloss to semi-gloss coatings. Its dosage level is 1.0 – 3.0%. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
