Rheovis® PE 1320 by BASF acts as a newtonian rheology modifier for aqueous coatings. It improves high brush drag (ICI viscosity). It offers very good application hiding, flow and leveling properties, resistance properties and roller application and spatter resistance.
- Rheovis® PE 1320 provides good gloss development with superior scrub and water resistance.
- It is recommended as the sole thickener for coating systems containing a high hydrophobic surface area such as low pigmented, small particle size, high gloss to semi-gloss coatings.
- Recommended dosage level is 1.0 – 3.0%.
- It has a shelf life of 1 year.
