Rheovis® HS 1162 by BASF is a hydrophobically modified (HASE) anionic polyacrylate copolymer-based associative thickener. It shows thixotropic flow behavior, low water uptake, and no impact on wet adhesion even after long water contact. It is recommended for low-VOC systems. Rheovis® HS 1162 is used in high PVC paints, matt/interior, silk/semi-gloss, wood paints and stains, plasters, gloss, exterior- and elastic paints. It is ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 certified.
