Luwipal® 063 by BASF is highly reactive melamine-formaldehyde resin with imino content. It is etherified with methanol and dissolved in water. Used for making highly reactive baking finishes in combination with water-thinnable alkyd or acrylic resins. Can be combined with solvent-containing resins for producing conventional baking finishes. Luwipal® 063 is recommended for use in water-based coatings. It is designed for use in furniture foil and industrial applications.
