Laromer® UA 9072 by BASF is an aliphatic urethane acrylate. It shows extreme flexibility and high toughness with low shrinkage. It is highly elastic, tear resistant, exhibits low yellowing, and provides good adhesion.
  • Its aliphatic character enables the formulation of weather-resistant and low-yellowing coatings.
  • It can be diluted with all organic solvents commonly used in the coatings industry, except aliphatic hydrocarbons.
  • It is compatible with acrylic and methacrylic monomers, including hexanediol diacrylate, tripropylene glycol diacrylate, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and hydroxypropyl methacrylate, as well as polyether-, polyester-, epoxy-, and urethane acrylates.
  • Laromer® UA 9072 is recommended on wood, plastic, and mineral substrates.
  • It is used as a combination resin in UV coatings and UV inks.
