Hydroxyethylcaprolactone Acrylate (HECLA)

Supplied byBASF- Last Updated on Nov 2, 2024

Hydroxyethylcaprolactone Acrylate (HECLA) by BASF is an acrylate and caprolactone-based monomer. It forms homopolymers and copolymers. Used as feedstock for chemical synthesis because it readily undergoes addition reactions with a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds.
  • It is an ideal capping agent for UV-curable urethane acrylate oligomers.
  • Imparts adhesion, flexibility, weatherability, and crosslinking properties to polymers.
  • Hydroxyethylcaprolactone acrylate is listed on REACH, TSCA, DSL, IECSC, ECL, NEZIOC, and NECSI inventory.
