Acronal® MB PLUS 4230 by BASF is a high-solids, low VOC capable acrylic resin. It is REDcert certified that achieves a significantly lower product carbon footprint as it uses renewable raw materials instead of fossil raw materials via a mass balance approach. It is ideal for use with slurried pigments.
  • It is suitable for manufacture of flat and satin paints.
  • It has good slurry compatibility for interior and exterior applications in contractor, premium grade paints.
  • It offers excellent wet, dry and chalk adhesion with good early water resistance and scrub resistance to aged alkyd paints.
  • It provides outstanding weatherability, excellent film properties and excellent freeze/thaw stability.
  • It also delivers improved titanium dioxide efficiency.
  • Acronal® MB PLUS 4230 is recommended for architectural coatings.
  • It is a biomass balance product certified by TU¨V Nord according to 2 certification.
