2-Octyl Acrylate by BASF is a high purity, bio-based monomer. It is an alternative to fossil-based monomers such as 2-Ethylhexyl Acrylate (2-EHA) and n-Butyl Acrylate (BA). It provides excellent weatherability and enhanced scrub resistance in coatings.
