Natrosol™ 250 MR

Natrosol™ 250 MR by Ashland is a non-ionic, water-soluble hydroxyethyl cellulose surface-treated with glyoxal. It offers good pseudoplastic flow behavior and wide compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers, pigments, surfactants, and preservatives. It offers mechanical & chemical stability and controls rheology before, during and after application. It provides good color acceptance, color development and viscosity retention on tinting, fast dispersion, and easier dissolving in water. Natrosol™ 250 MR is used as a high efficiency nonionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in all types of water-based paints and surface coatings. It can be used as a protective colloid, stabilizer and suspending agent.
