Natrosol™ 250 LR

Natrosol™ 250 LR by Ashland is a non-ionic, water-soluble hydroxyethyl cellulose surface-treated with glyoxal. It offers good pseudoplastic flow behavior and wide compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers, pigments, surfactants, and preservatives. It provides good color acceptance, color development, and viscosity retention on tinting. It shows fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water. It offers mechanical and chemical stability and controls rheology before, during and after application. Natrosol™ 250 LR is used in a high efficiency thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in all types of water-based paints and surface coatings. It can be also used as a protective colloid, stabilizer and suspending agent.
