Natrosol™ 250 H4BR

Natrosol™ 250 H4BR by Ashland is a hydroxyethyl cellulose surface-treated with glyoxal. It is non-ionic, water-soluble and can be used as a protective colloid, stabilizer and suspending agent. Offers good pseudoplastic flow behavior, Offers mechanical & chemical stability and controls rheology before, during and after application, wide compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers, pigments, surfactants, and preservatives. It shows fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water. Provides good color acceptance, color development, and viscosity retention on tinting. Natrosol™ 250 H4BR is used in high efficiency thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in all types of water-based paints and surface coatings.
