Natrosol™ 250 GR

Natrosol™ 250 GR by Ashland functions as a high efficiency non-ionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier. It is a water-soluble hydroxyethylcellulose surface-treated with glyoxal. It offers very good pseudoplastic flow behaviour. It shows wide compatibility with other materials such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers, pigments, surfactants and preservatives. It provides mechanical & chemical stability and controls rheology before, during and after application. It imparts very good color acceptance and color development. It allows viscosity retention on tinting, superior biostability, fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water. Natrosol™ 250 GR can be used as a protective colloid, stabilizer and suspending agent. It is designed for all types of water-based paints and surface coatings.
