easy-wet™ 435 by Ashland is a nonionic substrate wetting agent. It exhibits a low static surface tension and helps to minimize defects in coating such as cratering, pin holing. It is suitable for industrial/specialty coatings applications such as wood coatings and metal coatings where good wetting and flow behavior combined with low foaming tendencies are desirable attributes. It offers a sustainable solution with low VOC content. Recommended use level of the easy-wet™ 435 is 0.2-1.0%, depending on the coating formulation.
