Dextrol™ OC-110 by Ashland is the free-acid form of a tridecyl alcohol ethoxylated phosphate ester. It is an anionic phosphate ester surfactant. It is primarily used as an emulsifier in emulsion polymerization.
  • It provides the finished latex with low coagulum and offers improved storage stability for the resulting latex.
  • It has enhanced color properties and excellent wetting & dispersion of pigments.
  • It has increased gloss and improved substrate wetting in waterborne latex paints.
  • It inhibits flash and nail head rusting.
  • It has a recommended usage level 1.5-3% by weight on total monomers.
  • It is listed on TSCA chemical inventory (USA) and complaint with EINECS.
