Culminal™ C8713 by Ashland is a methylcellulose derivative based on nonionic cellulose ether. Acts as a rheology modifier and is suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Used in cementitious adhesives, gypsum plasters and fillers, joint compounds, renders and skim coats, self-levelling underlayments and floor screeds, and many more.
  • Provides water retention, workability and cohesiveness to mixtures.
  • Used to control thickening, water demand, open time, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.
  • It helps to build materials to be applied more easily and perform better.
  • Also, available with retarded hydration to allow use in ready-to-use building materials.
  • Culminal™ C8713 complies with the SARA 311/312 Hazards, AUSTR (Australia), DSL (Canada), IECSC (China), ENCS (Japan), KECL (Korea), NZIoC (New Zealand), PICCS (Philippines), TSCA (USA) inventories and 29 CFR 1910.1200 (OSHA HazCom 2012) regulation.
