ASCONIUM® 142DA by ASCOTEC is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. It is mainly used in waterborne or solvent borne coatings based on 1K acrylic, 2K acrylic, 1K PU or 2K PU resins.
- Provides efficient at low dosage, outperforming usual anticorrosion pigments, improving adhesion of coating on metal, improving film’s water resistance and reduces film blistering.
- Exhibits high gloss level and possibility of coloring.
- ASCONIUM® 142DA can achieve performance complying up to C5 corrosion class requirements (ISO 12944).
