DURANOL™ T5650J by Asahi Kasei is a low viscosity, amorphous polycarbonatediol (PCD). Shows good compatibility with polyester polyols. Exhibits excellent durability and good hydrolysis resistance. Possesses stress at a low strain and is smaller than that of solid type PCD. Provides excellent scratch and weather resistance in high function polyurethane. DURANOL™ T5650J is recommended for paints applications. Offers softer feeling as a binder of a soft feel paint, excellent handling property and solvent solubility.
