DURANOL™ T5650E by Asahi Kasei is a low viscosity polycarbonatediol (PCD). Exhibits excellent durability and good hydrolysis resistance. Shows good compatibility with polyester polyols. It is amorphous and possesses stress at a low strain is smaller than that of solid type PCD. Offers softer feeling as a binder of a soft feel paint, excellent handling property and solvent solubility. Provides excellent scratch- and weather resistance in high function polyurethane. DURANOL™ T5650E is applicable for paints applications.
