DURANOL™ G3452 by Asahi Kasei is a polycarbonatediol (PCD) available in amorphous liquid form. Compatible with polyester polyols. Possesses stress at a low strain. Exhibits excellent durability & good hydrolysis and chemical resistance. It is smaller than that of solid type PCD. Shows excellent scratch-, abrasion- and weather resistance in high function polyurethane. Offers softer feeling as a binder of a soft feel paint, excellent handling property and solvent solubility. DURANOL™ G3452 is recommended for paints applications.
