Crayvallac® PA4 WDA 12 by Arkema acts as a rheology modifier in paste form for post addition to solvent-based coatings with low polarity systems and also as a levelling agent. It is a pre-activated amide wax dispersed in a mixture of mineral spirit (D60) and alcohols. Imparts shear-thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery. Exhibits good re-coatability and is easy to incorporate. Crayvallac® PA4 WDA 12 is recommended for 1.0-3.0% anti-settling and 3.0 - 5.0% sag resistance.
