Crayvallac® PA4 BA 20 by Arkema is a HAPs-free, composed of a pre-activated amide wax dispersed in a mixture of butyl acetate and alcohol. Used for post-addition to solvent-based industrial coatings. Suited to coatings demanding a higher degree of surface gloss or transparency. Easy to incorporate. Crayvallac® PA4 BA 20 imparts shear-thinning rheology with thixotropic viscosity recovery. Provides little effect on gloss. Possesses good sag resistance, good anti-settle properties and good recoatability.
